Refund policy

Returns
We love our products and we want you to love them, too. That's why we stand behind everything we sell. If you're not completely satisfied, please return it within 14 days of purchase for a refund. Please email yum@muchbetterbutter.com for a RMA number prior to return. 
If the item is defective, we'll pay for return shipping.  
Returns are accepted from USA customers only. 

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. If your refund is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow 3-5 business days to process your refund.  

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after 5 business days, please double check your account.
Then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take more time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items
Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us at yum@muchbetterbutter.com
Depending on your location, the time it takes for your exchange products may vary. 

Gifts
If your return item was marked as a "gift" by the purchaser and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the return is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a "gift" when purchased, or the gift-giver shipped the order to themselves to give to you later, we will directly refund the gift-giver.

Shipping
Unless the item is defective or damaged, the purchaser is responsible for paying shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If we've sent you a return label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are returning an item in a glass container, please make sure it is properly wrapped and protected for shipping.
Please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item or that your item will be received undamaged.
